Long Oval Turquoise Ring
A handmade Southwestern ring, circa 1970s. The ring is silver and set with a long irregular oval-shaped blue turquoise stone. The bezel has a saw-toothed edge and the shank is a wide band that has engraved lines and hand stamping on each side. The end of the shank has been flanged out to four ends with flattened silver disks... an intricate and interesting design. The inside of the ring is stamped “G.Nelson” and “Sterling.” The ring size is 8 1/2.
